Hi Sue,

As I have only been attending sessions for a couple of weeks my feedback is fairly minimal. I will say however that I enjoy the sessions immensely. Both yourself and the other ladies within the group are wonderful and supportive of each other. Generally it is not only a chance to improve our health and wellbeing but also an opportunity to see friends and socialise within a group environment of like minded ladies.

I also really like that we change the activities we are doing from session to session. It keeps it fresh and interesting.

Also, I should mention that I think it is really great how you are so encouraging to us and willing to spend the time with us individually in order to make sure that we are getting out of the sessions what we want .

Deciding to come to the sessions has been the second best decision I made this year (the first was deciding to get braces).

I never thought I would ever participate in a fun run. I have known people who have done it - including my mum and sister-in-law, who are extremely fit people - and I never imagined that I would have been fit enough to enter and as a result was never interested in participating. But with the training that I was provided with a slight push to do that little bit more every time, I began to want to do more and continue to do it and in the end was able to run the entire 5klm course and finish at a time that I could be proud of. Who would have ever believed that I would find the inclination, the energy, the drive, the motivation and the time to strength train and to eventually run 5km. Training with Sue through enarji made me feel like I could reach for my goals while feeling safe and absolutely confident that my technique was supervised at every stage.

 

Not only am I feeling great physically, but my whole sense of well being has improved. Since having children I can't remember the last time I accomplished something for myself. What a sense of achievement! I could never have done it without you and I can't thank you enough!

I was feeling unfit and overweight, but too scared to face the crowds in a Gym and not motivated enough to exercise by myself. I turned to Sue at enarji Health Coaching for help.

Sue set up sessions for me and a friend to train together.
This made exercising fun, Sue was fantastic and she was always positive and very motivational.


She varied each training session to keep us on our toes.

I could notice a difference in my enarji levels after the first week of training.

Training with Sue has been a real eye opener. I thought I knew what I was doing wrong but the “chats” with Sue after each of our training sessions made me reconsider how I felt about food, exercise and even myself.

 

I have learned to accept that my body won’t magically change shape but it can be fitter, stronger and healthier and that is a complete shift in thinking for me as I embrace exercise for the right reasons for possibly the first time in my life.

 

No longer do I feel guilty about having a “treat” either because I am listening to my body’s hunger signals and to my surprise my body is telling me it doesn’t want junk food all that often. Instead I seem to be eating a wider variety of foods and really enjoying them rather than eating for the sake of eating.

 

At 40 I feel like I have a new appreciation of my body and just how powerful, enarjized and beautiful it can be.

 

So thanks Sue for reshaping the way I think about myself, food, exercise and life in general.

I’ve never been able to stick to a gym contract but as I approach my one year training with the enarji group sessions I can’t believe how comfortable I am with it and I now feel agitated if I don’t go for a run in a week (I would have laughed a year ago if someone had told me I would soon run 5kms without stopping).

Thank you for showing me exercise can be fun and I’ve taken on a whole new approach to eating with your guidance. Without even thinking about it now I’m eating salads for lunch at least 5 times a week and always have an array of fruit in the fridge.

I’m not always happy with what I see in the mirror but I definitely have a healthier opinion of wellbeing.
