Hello & welcome
My name is Sue Bary,
Principal Health Coach for enarji

For most of my adult life I have always been into health and fitness to some degree or another & thoroughly enjoy it. It is what I am passionate about. I have been involved in a number of team sports, individual sports and sport for leisure.

For the past 7 years I have had a strong interest in triathlons, running & have competed in a number of events including, Bridge to Brisbane fun run, Mothers Day Classic, Gold Coast ½ Marathon, QLD ½ Marathon and numerous Triathlons.

In 2005 I decided to obtain myself a Personal Trainer to assist my improvement with training for triathlons as I have always had a weight issue and have been classed as „mildly obese’ in every event I entered (Including ½ marathons). I have been disgusted to have this terminology attached to me as a person because I am happy with my body and enjoy my lifestyle and feel I should not be put into this category because the called experts said so.

In 2006 I decided to complete my Certificate IV in Fitness so I could help people like myself to still enjoy fitness and body movement, but without the 'lose weight, go on a diet' stigma attached to it. Immediately after completion of my course, enarji was born.

I have been fortunate to train various interesting people to help achieve their goals including people who want to lose weight, get stronger, help keep their fitness level up, keep fit whilst pregnant, train for mini triathlons and fun runs, mums who want to keep fit for their children and other various reasons.

In June 2008 I had my first gorgeous baby boy, Angus & have nurtured him through the first few years of his precious life. Since having Angus, my body shape had changed yet once again and gained and extra 8kg

One year after Angus was born, I decided to enter in the Gold Coast Airport Marathon and compete in the 10km run which was held in June 2009. So I started training in April as I had only been walking up until this time, (obviously with a pram now). I managed to not only complete the 10km run, however achieve a Personal Best time (PB) ever in a 10km run!!!

So this is what gets me about the 'Australian Obesity epidemic' how are people ever to be able to achieve their goals if they are told they are obese all the time.

I needed to find a solution to help people overcome their own body size & shape like I have.
After loads of research and talking to people in the community, I came across this new movement from the US which helps people develop a healthy and pleasurable relationship with their body and food. This movement is called Health At Every Size which supports a “holistic” view of health that promotes feeling good about oneself, eating well in a natural, relaxed way and being comfortably active.

Since completing my research, facts & findings I had found that I can help clients like myself to eat intuitively, enjoy body movement and accept their body size at EVERY SIZE.
